Happy birthday to me! Celebrations started yesterday with a surprise visit from my very old friends (we were best man for each other decades ago) who turned up as arranged (apparently) despite the snow.

Change in the weather is on the way. Cloud building from the south this morning down by the river. We are expecting snow tomorrow.

I monitor my walking through an app and I walked 1150 miles in 2024. It is 50 fewer than the previous year but I’m still pleased with my achievement. I’ll also be getting a medal through the post. I’m just about to finish walking around Iceland too with street view providing sights to see.
