Does the democratic party have a strategy to win the 2 or 3 by-elections for the house this year? I would think winning the house or at least cutting the majority would be much more helpful and meaningful than all the protests, tweets, speeches, etc! I mean, it's 218-215 right now!

So we have medicine denier as head of HHS, an ex drunk as head of defense, a potential traitor as head of intelligence! This was all signaled before the election. What was democrats strategy to safeguard these institutions? Not just virtue signaling via votes that won't matter or grandstanding.

I think a fundamental question democratic leadership needs to tackle, I believe, why does the blue-collar worker and people in the rural communities have lost trust in the democrats. The democrats stood for the new deal. People had pictures of FDR in their homes!I mean unions are turning to GOP!
