Charlecote Park in Warwickshire has reopened the first floor of its impressive house after being closed for five years following major project works. A new exhibition, ‘The Library of Memories’, is also now on display, featuring historical writings by former resident.

We're shell-ebrating habitat improvements for the endangered white-clawed crayfish at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire, thanks to funding from BugLife. The ranger team has added logs into the stream where the crayfish shelter, giving them places to burrow and hide.

In recent years, more than 10,000 spring bulbs have been planted in Blickling Estate's Orchard, Norfolk. This project, funded by a generous legacy, involved a helping hand from local school children. Now, the crocuses are offering essential pollen and nectar for bees. #RestoreNature #Bees

This National Apprenticeship Week, meet Elissa, Community Engagement Ranger at Blickling. Starting as Apprentice Ranger, she now has a full time role in the team. Her advice? "Just go for it! It's the best thing I've done. If you love nature, being outdoors, and want to make a difference, apply!”

During #NationalApprenticeshipWeek we'd like to give a big shout out to all our apprentices. With a passion for the outdoors, Maddy, volunteered while a student and, after her degree, decided to pursue a countryside management career. As an apprentice in the Peak District, she's making a big impact.

A 23-year long, volunteer-led project to restore 700m of historic flint wall at Ashridge Estate has completed. Starting with the restoration of the Golden Valley Bridge, a team of 30 volunteers dedicated many hours to clearing vegetation, sourcing flints and reconstructing the historic wall. 👇

Teamwork has helped to improve a path in the Peak District that connects Castleton to Mam Tor. Rangers and volunteers joined forces with a local farmer to build new fences and swapped stiles for gates to make the route more accessible for people with a range of needs. #teamwork #EveryoneNeedsNature

The team at Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire has been carrying out essential conservation work, which has seen the team work at height in the Saloon. This provided a poignant moment where current custodians met old ones, as the team found notes left by previous gilders, dating back to 1914. #History

We recently had a donation to Anglesey Abbey from a lady, whose family owned the local butchers, Hatley's. Three generations of Hatley's supplied Lord Fairhaven, even after the butcher’s shop closed in 1954. You can now see their paper lard packets on display in the Scullery Pantry. #LocalHistory
