It’s so hard to find people who mat h your energy, but I’m glad you have! My one bff does. I’ve been living by “If they wanted to, they would.” this year & it’s been helping a lot. My confidence has not been the best & just letting those relationships ride themselves out feels so freeing

and I’m an extrovert so I don’t expect my introvert friends to MATCH my energy but just stepping up to the plate now and then can help assure me they even want this relationship to endure, yet I can’t even get that from most people

I’ve stopped reaching out to people and not heard or seen them in months. I’ve had multiple friends groups where I was the glue. It’s just frustrating because it takes energy out of you and also confidence. You constantly ask yourself “So do they just not care?” “Am I being annoying?”
