Oh hey it’s the year of the snake! Here’s a drawing of a snake I made.

Will you join us, Oregon? #50501 🚨VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED🚨

The repository site will always be open-access and free to use: with so much AI noise online now, I can’t put it behind a paywall. But: this project is not funded. It runs entirely on donations. Considering joining the Patreon to get sneak peeks of new photos & help decide what taxa go up next!

He's a very grumpy guy 😠 #nature #highdesert #owl

I love making tiny "bouquets" in cardboard vases when I take walks. Really spices up my outside time, and it feels good to create something temporary but beautiful 🌿🌾🌸 #flowerpower #natureart #cardboardart

The spaces around me feel like a dangerous, unsafe place right now. Have a cute pic of my #dog Mulan with one of her ears flipped inside out as a buffer between the horrors. #puppy

We're going to make it through this πŸ©·πŸ’™ Let's turn our fear and rage into community action.

Nothing beats seeing a little moss in the woods when you're having a bad day #iseemoss

Dark and foggy road returning from Nosferatu, exactly how all new years should start.

Rot Girl Summer

It is my birthday, hooray!

Don't worry, I'm still around...

January was a weird month, glad it's over. Here, have some tiny drawings based on books I read. 1. The Hollow Kind by Andy Davidson 🐻 2. Sundial by Catriona Ward β˜€οΈ 3. Lanny by Max Porter 🌿

Tis the season 🍬 . . . Sorry for the low quality photo... this is a holiday card I'm sending out to a friend tomorrow, but I couldn't help but take a pic before sending her on her way.

It's been ages since I carved real pumpkins πŸŽƒ I loved ripping their guts out and roasting their seeds 🧑

Tiny bird on mushrooms πŸ„ Oh boy, it is truly Autumn now! 🀩

October 9th: The Mushroom Friend 🐦 I started carrying this tiny bronze bird with me on my walks. He makes for a great size reference, and I like to think he truly enjoys bouncing on the mushroom caps πŸ„

October 5th: No walk drawing today, but that doesn't mean I don't have art to share! Last year I started a journal for whenever I finished reading a book. These three drawings are The Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer (highly recommend!)

October 4th: Late Bloomer 🍁 I saw the tiniest little barely sprouted plant turning beautiful fall colors. Little late, friend, but we've all been there 🫠

October 3rd: The Autumn Visitor 🍏 Someone has been dumping piles of rotting green apples out on the edge of the woods near my house. I'm sure they've been luring all types of visitors out of the woods for a snack 🦌

I've always had trouble drawing inspiration from prompts, so this October I'm doing something a little different for my art. I plan to do a drawing inspired by something on my walks, Walktober. Hopefully, this helps me see more magic around me each day of October 🧑 October 1: The Rosehip Harvest πŸ₯€

Vulraqiyun, the Claenopod 2019

For Drawtober, I usually do a miniature drawing each day based on the ~spooky~ themed movie I watch, but this year I won't be doing a movie every night. Looking for some new challenges for this October if you've got em! ... A few "greatest hits" from previous years' tiny journals 🍁

Autumn is upon us, friends πŸ‚ Take a moment to pause and relish the feeling of the cool air, comforting colors, and the aching feeling of nostalgia we all have this time of the year.

Hi, I'm here now, just in time for spooky season πŸŽƒ
