Cuts have consequences, illustrated. As seen on TV 📺

"I just want you to know that what you need to do is call your representatives and make sure that these cuts are stopped."

These people are just wrong about literally everything.

This is an extremely dangerous practice for everyone in the country, and everyone should be paying attention to it.

The pardons alone are reason enough to get him out of there.

The Free Speech Administration throwing down arguably the biggest sledgehammer against free thought and association in my lifetime.

Can't help but feel we're living through an increasingly existential war between spectacle and substance with spectacle winning battle after battle after battle.

I did my own research and found a bunch of people calling themselves scientists, who dedicate their lives to doing research and publishing their methods and findings. They allow others to test what they find and get called out on bad practices. Turns out you don’t have to do your own research.

Hard not to notice that ICE isn't breaking up drug rings or gangs (because we would ABSOLUTELY hear about it if they were), but instead are dressing up like bank robbers and doing the laziest shit possible, like hanging out at immigration court or grabbing people for busted taillights. Worthless

How many private equity guys are now going to have the first $160K of their income categorized as "tips"?

Republicans vilified trans people in sports decrying an unfair advantage. But they are fine stealing taxpayer dollars and funneling them to private schools, so those private schools can recruit public school star athletes away from the public schools to give private schools competitive advantages.

Do you ever think about the great things America could do if we focused our energy on common good rather than corporate greed?

NYT: “.. People making between about $51,000 and $17,000 could lose about $700 on average in after-tax income .. “By contrast, the top 0.1 percent, including those with incomes over $4.3 million, would gain on average more than $389,000 ..” @tonyromm.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2025/05/16/u...
