I did my own research and found a bunch of people calling themselves scientists, who dedicate their lives to doing research and publishing their methods and findings. They allow others to test what they find and get called out on bad practices. Turns out you don’t have to do your own research.

Still think it's pretty telling how muted the response was when Grok's Boer meltdown accidentally revealed how easy it is for the tech lords behind AI to manipulate it to their own ends. It won't always be so laughably obvious but it was treated as an "oops" and not a warning.
