The problem with Bill Maher going to visit the traitor in chief isn’t a desire to leave ugly politics aside. It’s that it normalizes Trump. A kinder gentler fascist is still a god damned fascist.

This is worse than sentence first, verdict afterwards. It’s verdict first (judicial order not to remove to El Salvador), sentence next (mistaken removal to CECOT), and finally retroactive nullification of verdict with no due process to accord with wrongful sentence. We are monsters.
