Had to unfollow the deep cuts account, only for its prolific prolificness. I’ll make a point to listen to its website.

Went to see the Led Zep doc, and was as always pummeled by the excess of talent possessed collectively and individually by the band. I’m heartened though, that I’m a better lyricist by several miles than the band as a whole. At least there’s that.

Whoa, so I guess Trump is doing an executive order to change the name of our language to “American”? And he wants to eliminate every other vowel?

I promise, there are similar stories for every major sports event (see also: Atlanta shipping away unhoused people ahead of the Olympics) This is the incredible cruelty that ensures that the twin problems of income+wealth inequity & poverty are less visible to tourists.

I know we have much bigger problems, but is anyone else seeing this insanity? Is it Katy Perry’s fault?

1. Part of a journalist’s job description is indeed to expose monstrous behavior of public monsters 2. I reject any elected official publicly using the phrase “bad dude”, especially when it means “demonstrably racist”.

Israeli forces conducted an unprecedented escalation in the West Bank over the weekend by detonating 20 apartment buildings in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank. The move constituted the largest single demolition operation in the West Bank since 1967.

Still at 47% approval today?

As a child I steered clear of thugs, toughs, roustabouts; turns out the true danger is the Predatory Dork.

Past Waldo would say "there is no reason to believe that yesterday's crash is in any way rooted in any of this." Current Waldo sees no reason to provide the Trump administration with the benefit of the doubt.

Here we go.

If you wanna spend 5.50 on a 8 Oz. cup of coffee thats somehow flavored against your wishes and takes 20 minutes to prepare but can’t make it to Blue Bottle or whatever, let me tell you about this health food store

Shout out to the three other people in a fully swarmed Orlando airport wearing masks. Guys, c’mon! I’m not even that guy, it’s just… duh.

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025... Actual ghoul. “They’re monsters pursuing a monstrous agenda”.

Dude I’m no movie guy but Le Substance had a whole lotta credits

In related news, also offended I don’t own a copy of The Grapes of Wrath. Then I remembered the library down the street.

Almost offended by how cheap I got Vollman’s Rising Up and Rising Down (abridged version!). Anybody in earshot ever read the 7 volume version vs. the single edition? Thoughts?

The holidays are a great reminder that so many sweet, well meaning liberal people in our lives would have gone/will go nazi because convenience is their core value.

Honestly if only there was a fanzine size paper version of every topic on the internet in which I’m interested, I’d have reading material for a good long time. But the internet itself? No thanks.

Best thing about the holidays is sitting in a room full of old people simultaneously demanding to be entertained and not paying an ounce of attention to anything.

Looking high and low for a post to like that says: even if you were born into a Christian culture, it’s ok to hate Christmas.

Matt Gaetz allegedly sited at local Circle K in Oakley Blades asking girls if they “party”.

Burger King, I have a campaign for you: “NO SNITCHIN’ IN OUR KITCHEN”

Maybe it’s a sign of aging but I just looked up the lyrics to Tom Sawyer (don’t own the record- not a fan)and was kind of impressed by some of the lines.

Per my previous RT, @modernistwitch.bsky.social, who came up with the concept of Bandcamp Fridays (and as per said post, was not looking for credit so much as showing context), needs some help in turn if it can be spared. Hire him, I sez I sez.

The more time I spend at art fairs the more confident I am in the pragmatism of seizure of all private property of people “earning” above 500k annually.

Anonymous Chinese craft painters are the most represented demographic at Art Basel. They make everything.
