Cymbidium Red Beauty ‘Carmen’ just opening. Cymbidiums can be so hard to bloom in Calgary with their need for a long cool fall to set buds. It’s been several years since the last time it flowered.❤️ #orchid

I know the blooms are tiny, but this orchid blooms more often (constantly, all thru the year) than any of my others. Surprised this species isn't in cultivation more. Daily watering & regular feeding is all it asks for. Dozens more buds yet to open. 🌱: Pelatantheria insectifera 🌿 🌸 🌴 🌸 🪴 🌸 🌴 🌸 🌿
