Point of note: as far as I’m aware, Pres Zelensky has never asked U.S troops to fight in #Ukraine. He’s asked for military capability, training and mentoring, financial aid, and humanitarian support to enable his own forces to deter, degrade, and disrupt Putin’s invading force.

100% accurate. Zelensky needs security assurances for relinquishing significant economic resources to Trump - and he’s not prepared to capitulate on this. Of note, not once has Trump condemned Putin’s invasion of #Ukraine.

If you’re curious about who Putin is. The depths at which he will go to for power? I could not recommend this book by John Sweeney highly enough. It’s a sobering read. On closing the final page, it may become clear to you why Trump is now aligning himself w/ Russia. Hopefully the USA will prevail.
