I always struggle with #MemorialDay A friend 2 years younger than me asked for advice in 2006 while I was deployed to Iraq. He wanted to join the Air Force. I was so beaten by the constant deployments to war, that I told him it wasn’t worth it. He joined the Army. In 2008 he was killed. #veterans
