So. It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year. I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

I am very politically active and write/call my congressman often. I have lived in his district for almost 2 decades. I have never seen him in person and it’s not for a lack of trying. No town halls. No visiting his district. I’ve never seen hide nor hair of Sam Graves.

This quote hits me hard. My 22-year Army vet husband chose Trump over country and family. In our last fight, he defended Musk's Nazi salute. I told him that he had shit on his own service. He insulted Milley when I brought up this quote during the argument. I chose country over him. No regret.
