Something like a blanket ban on transition care is only effective if a significant number of people accept the premise that the state has the authority to dictate such a thing. We can, in fact, collectively just say “No, I don’t think so.”

Civilization was a mistake. If I had a time machine I would warn the guy who invented agriculture that he’s about to fuck things up for everyone for the next few millennia.

A lot of people are going to have to learn over the next few years that "You're not the boss of me!" sometimes actually is the correct response.

This was the last time I felt a real sense of hope.

At some point in the near future, Elon is going to unilaterally decree that nobody gets to have Social Security or Medicaid anymore, and that's going to be the breaking point for thousands, if not millions, of people. There will be literal riots in the streets.

before the decade is out we're going to see at least one incident in which "private security professionals" hired by a paranoid CEO to surround him at all times shoot and kill a random person on the street for the heinous crime of existing within proximity to said CEO

The moral arc of the universe has bent, for one shining moment, toward justice, after a long time bending away from it. I keep seeing the reaction categorized as "hatred" or "bloodthirstiness." What you're really seeing is celebration, a people realizing they're not as powerless as they thought.

My grandmother's name is Beatrice, but she goes by Bea When I set her up an email account, I made the mistake of making it bea[lastname]@gmail.com As you can probably guess, this has caused some problems when she has to give her email address over the phone She has to spell it out every time

A lot of people just naturally shorten my name to "Millie", and sure, that's fine. But I prefer "Lenni", because I already know too many Millies, and I need to be The One And Only Me

It's me, Millennium Adora, your hostess with the mostest from the Central Avenue System. You may know our system collectively as @princessalice.moe. I decided I needed my own account, for reasons.
