It’s a start.

There seem to be a lot of people confusing hate speech with free speech. I'd name them but I think they're getting too much oxygen already. So how to counteract, because we mustn't ignore it?

When Christmas preps get too much turn to YouTube and find All Aboard the Sleigh ride. Lasts two hours. Two Sami women and their reindeer crossing a dark, snowy landscape. We play it on the telly, via a scart lead thingy. Glass of something; fire; ultimate relaxation. Merry Christmas!

After a recent episode of ill health I shared my funeral wishes with my eldest son. Once upon a time I could never have imagined doing such a thing, to that angelic little face. But he took it like the man he is, and we laughed together.

This is on a par, for me, with people who cry, “Moving on!”, without acknowledging and dealing with a problem.
