first time I'm hearing the term "art-nihilist". I guess this is an American problem, because the general layperson in western europe for example has interest+art literacy while an American has so little art literacy/understanding/empathy that it's demonized (this is systematically intentional) lol

Love love love these, something quietly intimate and sublime found in "essence", it's refreshing for me to see these alongside your finished work

Being cis or not has nothing to do with understanding, as if "cis" and "trans" are actually different (dif. experiences, yes). People get lost on nuance and perpetuate our problems which is believing there's divisions of existence (gatekeepers), rather than divisions of labor and expectations

Really interesting read from you! I agree w/ you, dysphoria is conditional. "Gender" simply can't exist in my outward perception. Esoterically, I see myself and others for the texture of the soul, meaning we are all the Same Thing (but w/ infinite variations)+ego->identity->physical choices

I'm obsessed with your work. If I had more expendable income I'd purchase some...I would 100% buy prints though if you ever make any

I actually wrote about this in my thesis insinuating my next step is looking into consciousness through intuitive painting. This is an emerging field gaining a lot of traction in socialist countries, but slowly coming to the US as well. I've been busy but I plan to write abt this more on substack

Makes sense. Costco is the only store I'm comfortable wearing my beard and wizard hat in

I'm the same person. I remember passing out when I was 2 (I was still unable to speak but I could understand language) and seeing a river of light. I accepted that was what space is made out of, and we were all made of it too. I've also drawn my entire life, which connects me to my past

Definitely a big problem in America, like, in Germany (where I studied) I learned that they have a robust art council. If you're recognized as a working artist you get health insurance and etc.
