Zombie games + Survival are always fun, and whilst the previous titles were endless runners, Our Darkest Days takes more of a This War of Mine/Zomboid approach, whilst keeping side scrolling intact. You have to really think about taking on fights, game was intense!

This was one of the most fascinating games I’ve played in a while! Whilst the progression in itself is Roguelike in theory, the actual feel is more like, Myst, an absolute classic puzzle exploration game from the OG era of PC, drafting rooms is a dope mechanic!

The Eternal Die was a HELLA fun roguelike to play, whenever you see isometric perspectives you immediately think “This is Hades”, this is not hades, this is a Tim Burton esque, tabletop game inspired rogue more similar to Binding of Isaac in my eyes! And it’s ADDICTIVE.

Really fun for what we got to play, had some of the game team come by and provide useful backseating! It gives me Wayfinder vibes with Warframe energy. Just was upset I was very pushed towards pre-made loadouts. One to keep an eye on!

I think we really often forget that anything above 6/10 should equate to being a good thing. Here's my scale:
6/10 - Playable
7/10 - Good
8/10 - Great/Solid no issues
9/10 - Fantastic/Might set trends
10/10 - Game Changing/Most likely to set trends
So many games are worthy despite what people say!
