AGI are great at fake detail, but if we look closely into the chaotic spaces, problems become apparent. Real artists do scribbly detail, but they follow the lines of the actual object in the drawing: locks of hair cross without disappearing and fabric trims connect along seams. #spottheaiart

As Algorithmically Generated Images (AGI/AI art) get better at hands, they’re not getting better at consistent object recognition. So, the next thing we look for when we #SpotTheAiArt is object blending. The AI doesn’t know what it’s drawing, so background and secondary objects aren’t consistent.

A big part of my work is only possible because of other artists. The makers of the manta ray gave me permission to purchase and use their piece, ship it from the UK, remove the unstable traditional sterling silver post, fill it with silver, and add one of my steel screws.
