Agreed. Although i felt today the set up was dyche ball. Neither fb was going to overlap, so no width. We didn’t offer any threat at all to their defence, so their fb’s could push forward and pressure us.

Yep. 100%. No width has been the problem. Neither fb really wants to overlap

Nah man. He was at Southampton 🤣 he’ll be expecting to start ahead of Doucs tho

My dad stopped supporting his team that day. The grief he felt for Duncan Edwards was too much for him to bear.
Years later I took him to Goodison, and on that day he was reborn a blue.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

He’s definitely enjoying being allowed to attack more 😀
Needs to improve his finishing to earn a permanent deal imo.

We will begin raffling this @iliman_ndiaye @Everton shirt (£10 per ticket) on Sunday.
On this occasion, every penny that we raise will be donated to Liverpool charity, @LJ_Support who provide support to bereaved parents 💕
We’ll sell via DM & draw via random selector 1/3/25 💙

Well played ladies. Two lovely goals. Fingers crossed the injury to Megs isn’t too bad. UTT 💙

I am sure we all hope Beto will do well. I expect Moyes will tweak how we play, maybe even our formation, in order to suit him more.

I put it down to not making subs early enough and to not replacing Doucoure.

100 percent on point. Only criticism- he’s still picking Doucs. He’s chasing shadows from 1st minute and absolutely knackered at the end. Should never start, and when 3-0 up with 25mins to play he should always be replaced by Armstrong to give the young talent some experience

Is it true he could walk on water?

Completely agree. Have to get behind him now, wish him lots of luck. I hope he can give us some hope and optimism back.

I’d bite your arm off for that at the moment. A sad reflection of how far back up the mountain we have to climb just to get back to where we were > 10yrs ago.

Feels like this was inevitable when we didn’t get in a new mgr in the summer. I know we probably couldn’t afford to pay off Dyche at the time b/c the TFG takeover hadn’t gone through. IMO it is, therefore, another legacy of the Moshiri era that we feel forced into this decision

It’s the young ones who’ve only known these times that I feel sorry for.

Absolutely agree. He took us two steps forward last season. But he’s taken us two steps back this season.

100%. But there’s no fear of being dropped so no need to do better.
