Lil test I wanted to try, as I'd been wondering how to make a shutter like this for sometime. Turns out, I'd been overthinking it Right side is FK, Left is an IK set-up, with each bone on the right copying the rotation of the IK bone it's colour corresponds to. #b3d #3d #blender

took a while, but I abandoned the VFX graph route in favour of creating a water droplet system using good ol particles Due to VFX graph GPU/CPU stuff, when attempting to execute code upon a droplet hitting a surface and spawning a splash [1/3] #indiedevs #indie #game #Unity3d

Had to switch to a new Unity project and copy stuff over, because the 1st version somehow got a memory leak in the HDRP files that I was not qualified to look into. I'd never even seen that memory leak warning before. And now the 2nd version has a wireframe flicker issue :/

tried making a tweakable light flicker script. Set min and max levels, then thresholds, and the randomly-generated light level would only apply if it was below or above the thresholds. By slowing it down like that, the hope was to make a less extreme- [1/2] #indiedevs #indie #game #Unity3d
