*ordering Mt. Everest-sized mountain of fries* This shit better not have any seed oil

Forget Netflix - start hiring devs to build this!

Curious who from UnitedHealth signed the DMCA takedown notice claiming under penalty of perjury that United's copyrights were being infringed.

Hell, until it has some kind of official status or legal personality, they shouldn't acknowledge that DOGE exists in any way except as an imaginary thing Elon and Vivek post about

I think there's a difference between effectively and aggressively working the system (including norms, procedures, etc.) to achieve your political goals and fealty to civility and decorum for the sake of taking the high road while your opponents yank away the football every damn time

Of course there's no reward. Among other things, this is a cudgel - if clutched pearls can be cudgels - that the other side uses very effectively to keep dems docile and defensive

Three easy steps?? One weird trick or gtfo!

The weird thing, though, is that all of this is true of Trump as well, and has been on full display to voters for years, and yet... Maybe it's just another case of him getting away with it and anyone else who tries it falling on their face?

The continuing worship of norms and civility above all just hastens the decline. It's the weakness the other side is counting on, and especially bizarre coming after an election where "democracy was on the ballot." I yield the balance of my time to the gentleman in the balaclava with the AR-15...

It's interesting to get into factual arguments with an LLM. If something's obvious, i.e., all over the training data, it might argue with you, but you can often get it to adopt and endorse all kinds of ridiculous ideas, especially if they're built-in assumptions in your prompt

Of course since it's AI-driven, it would be a good practice to include a bias meter for the bias meter - and repeat, recursively, ad infinitum.

I mean, same thing as deep Resistance stuff from last go round - Marshall of the Supreme Court, game theory, etc. - right?

And they say American Exceptionalism is dead

Like so much else from Silicon Valley, it's overhyped vaporware. Maybe one day they'll charge $10k for a beta release that kills you.

And too many view the stability as desirable in and of itself - hence no desire to violate norms, break with decorum or standard procedure, as things continue to slide. We think we can avoid the extraordinary simply by refusing to call it out for what it is - and thus push ourselves ever closer.

Looks like they're blowing past "do we acknowledge trans people" and just pivoting to Paul Ryan era GOP shit that no one ever liked. Next up on my bingo card: "equality of opportunity"

Building a library of books you won't read? Enjoy your Eco chamber!

Ha! This was 100% real in communist Poland...

You motherfuckers call it a clown car administration, I say, Growth Mindset! Mid-level associate sex pest as AG? We can do hard things. Russian asset as NDI? Let's make better mistakes tomorrow. RFK at HHS? Chance's aren't given, they're taken

Laugh all you want, but the techbros know we can destroy the federal bureaucracy faster with a divide-and-conquer algorithm.
