Currently reading: _A World Undone: The Story of the Great War, 1914 to 1918_. I learned the proper pronunciation of "Ypres" is not "Why-prez" or "Yipriss" or "Wipers" (as the British trench soldiers called it). It is, actually, more like... "Eep". I will likely never learn French.
