Wasn’t expecting this in a little historic church we popped into. 👀 😂

It's cute if anyone in the US still thinks they will have free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028.

What's the difference between firing someone "for DEI" and firing them because they are Black?

This ought to be top of the UK government's thinking re Palantir's role in the NHS. The dependency risk is not theoretical under Trump 2.0

This is where Truss and Farage were "representing" Britain:

Here's one of the warnings I gave in an article before the US election. It's devastating to see it all happening. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

There's a rumour that Nigel Farage is keeping his head down because he's off to a Trump cheerleading conference over the weekend. I’m afraid I’m being proved right- Farage is far more interested in Trump's success than British security. He is a bootlicker and a plastic patriot.

Kamala was right. And it only took him less than 30 days to roll over for Putin.

Trump has now completely humiliated his apologists in the U.K. but not one of them will be honest enough to admit it.

Feels a bit like Jan 6, except this time without the naïve belief that everyone would abandon Trump once his depravity became undeniable.

Blumenthal: "What world is he living in? It is not only contrary to the facts and the truth but utterly despicable. A disgusting betrayal of a country that has bled and fought and died for freedom ... the president's surrender is pathetic and weak."

I try to keep the language on here… PG… but in this case i can’t. You, Trump, are a traitorous piece of shit

Seen in Brooklyn this AM: an egged cybertruck with a bag of dogshit and also unbagged dogshit

European counties, including the UK, must form a global alliance with countries such as Canada, Australia, Japan and Brazil against Putin's Russia and Trump's US.

I don't think Trump is being blackmailed or bribed by Russia. I think he genuinely believes that a richer, bigger country should be able to do whatever it wants to smaller neighbours, and that Ukraine's defiance of Russia spits in the face of some imagined gangster-capitalist proper world order.

Trump is on Putin's side. That's it. That's the story and if you are on Trump and Putin's side then you're on the side of murder, fear, war and autocracy. Find it absolutely staggering that some people who you'd expect so much more of are cheering this nightmare on

Pretty disturbed by some of the Kremlin framing on the Trump talks being bought by parts of the media worldwide. It’s as if the genesis of the war is entirely forgotten. This isn’t a conflict which needs mediation. It was an unprovoked act of aggression. It could end tomorrow if Putin just withdrew.

Planes didn't crash when this guy ran things.

NEW: The Washington Post has pulled out of an agreement to run an ad in its newspaper criticising Elon Musk. This is despite signing an agreement to publish it. Democracy dies in darkness. Here is the ad. Let’s share it far and wide! Screw the Post.

In principle there should be a vote in Parliament when troops are deployed. I’m confident all sides of the House are likely to agree with the Prime Minister apart from those Trump bootlickers in Reform.

In case you’re having a bad day, new polling shows Assistant President Poopy Pant’s approval rating and personal popularity are going down faster than Lauren Boebert’s hand at a kid’s musical. Happy #PresidentsDay indeed.

Putin can end the fighting anytime he wants. He just needs to take his nasty little pockmarked fascist arse and carry it back to Russia where it fucking belongs.

There are always times in politics where both sides of the aisle have to come together. Badenoch cannot handle that, she needs to use fictitious "culture wars" battles, because she can't comprehend real world issues which require unity. It is just appalling politics, as much as anything else.

Honestly: just imagine. And imagine the implication for Ukraine. For all our miserabilism and self-deprecation, British actions currently matter a great deal, especially now that America is in retreat.

It is really very depressing that this is the Leader of the Opposition at a time like this.

Starmer confirming the UK is willing to put boots on the ground in Ukraine. An immense moment. Hard to overstate how important this is or how impressive it is that he's done it.
