This. When i hear my students talk about the workload of webtoon i bristle because it had always been the norm in webcomics to just dedicate a day or two and all was find. Hustle and grind culture applied to comics kills the ppl working in it every time

i think a big part for me of not submitting works or trying to reach out is that 'you're dumb and unwanted here' has been largery ingrained into my head since middle school and onward and it just kept going in adulthood and intuitive feeling of 'it's happening again' was almost never proven wrong
