Very disappointed to learn the Glenmore cycleway might be going my great uncle Glen was a trailblazer and he will be rolling in his grave

can we normalise publising a deceased actors name in the push notification? I didn't click on "buffy vampire slayer and gossip girl actress found dead" then later I find out it's Harriet the Spy? Thank you for one of the best movies of my childhood Michelle Trachtenberg 💙

The reason I get up and go to work every day is to give people hope they have a future home in our city. So well said Alex Matthews (no relation) www.thepost.co.nz/nz-news/3605...

rip my budgeting i've managed to book my biannual haircut and biannual hygienist in the same week

Being 3-0 down to Auckland FC becomes sooo much easier when Luxon announces he’s an AFC fan in the half time interview. Thank u for your service sir.

Expensive posters for two trans shows in the Fringe festival have been vandalised, so if you see them around town, can you let us know so the producers can replace them? And go see TRANSformative Experiences tickets.fringe.co.nz/event/446:62... and Bottom Surgery tickets.fringe.co.nz/event/446:61...

had a ticket to vision for wellington out of curiosity but saw it's THREE HOURS LONG so i've booked a fringe show and going for beers.

wow, would definitely be buying this house if i wasn't the one selling it (buy my house... or at least compliment my décor) www.trademe.co.nz/a/property/r...

I would say this, but - another great incentive to borrow from our libraries was going fines free. Huge increase of younger borrowers especially. Whatever the cause, I am thrilled. Love libraries ❤️ and will continue to be one woman hype machine www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/3605...

woah huge political shift from our mayor

Got the 2024 bus data and it was our strongest year ever with 26,597,739 bus trips. That’s 3.7% growth on 2019, our previous busiest year (pre-covid). Reliability was over 99% every month. October was our most reliable month at 99.7% and May our busiest month with 2,582,185 trips. Thank you drivers!

the Wellington Alive initiative is exactly what I've been dreaming up in my head without the willpower, energy or capacity to execute. Love to see some POSI energy about this wonderful city!!!

decided to operate from this platform now. call me beep me if u wanna tweet me.

Spent my weekend sewing this bee costume for Marley’s Halloween day at doggy day care. She’s not thrilled, but maybe she’ll think twice about eating every bee that visits our garden 🐝

🍃 Looking forward to Sustainaganza on Thursday! Who will I be seeing there? 🚲 🌟 If you're not registered - there's still an opportunity to be a part of the evening to discuss the future of shaping of cities (for free!). Come join us from 5pm at Te Wharewaka! 🏙 mailchi.mp/92a44bcb48c8...

For the first time, August’s 2.38 million monthly bus boardings in Wellington were higher than pre covid. This is a significant milestone. Some folks told us public transport use would never recover. The truth is that public transport has bounced back far faster than anyone predicted.

I love Tawa. Evening off-road cycle along Ara Tawa, next to the humming train line, for beers in a beer garden 😎

Two years ago there were no people or trees here. This is what happens when council invests public money into great spaces! Love Te Wānanga & the Quay St upgrade. 50 new gardens, 19 rain gardens, 200 new native trees. Quay St went from 6 lanes to 2, which reduced congestion & improved air quality.

Group (end of monthly) cycle out to Newtown to “menopause over martinis” last night. This gal in her 30s learnt a LOT. We gotta talk about menopause more, it affects so many people and is so seldom discussed! Thanks Frocks on Bikes 🚲❣️

Kia ora. Great to be here. Follow for bikes, trains and cities content. For proof: here is me and my bike next to a train going between cities.
