It is Parkrun day ##EduRunners

10k PB on a very flat course at The National Watersports centre, really enjoyable Christmassy event #EduRunners

Ran 8km with friends at a relaxed pace then did this Parkrun. Following a Garmin programme to improve my 10k pace is motivating me at the moment! #EduRunners

Being observed tomorrow, this is the first school I have worked in where you have formal observations, is it widespread? Previously just had anyone come in when they want to, which feels like leaders would have a more true view of what is happening.

8 runs over the 2 week half term covering 60km. Booked a 10k for December, 2 half marathons for next year and a 24 hour endurance event as motivation to keep going over the dark months ahead #EduRunners

Beautiful autumn 10k this morning #EduRunners

Great read, participation is absolutely key for learning to happen!

10k, 2 loops round the regatta lake at the national water sports centre, got a PB so really pleased #EduRunners

Robin Hood Half Marathon, my 4th half marathon and 1st running with my husband, which helped me knock 8 minutes off my PB 😀 #EduRunnners

5 x 10km loops in 24 hours at Equinox, such a fun weekend (and hard, exhausting too) #EduRunners

Local parkrun in the sunshine 🌞 #EduRunners

My highlight this week was meeting our new PGCE students, knowing we will nurture them and hopefully have 3 great science teachers to support moving to other schools by the end of the academic year 😀

Club run ended in the pub to discuss next weekend's 24 hour 10k loop run and camping, questioned my leisure time choices and then felt really pleased with them, that may change closer to the time 😀

Beautiful trail to get to our hill repeats spot this evening #EduRunners

I will ne listening to this on my commute tomorrow, highly recommend you give it a listen too. It is really informative and absolutely hilarious too!

I sometimes get asked about the common issues I see across primary schools and the kind of support I offer as a result. This brief blog explains this stuff. This is my first new blog on Blue Sky so reposts much appreciated. primarycolour.home.blog/2024/09/08/h...
