Combining two outputs of Genuary 23 into one plot. #plotterart #idrawpenplotter

I’ve just started using vpype in my plot workflow, and I’m already amazed by its optimization power! This time, I tested the ‘occult’ plugin on a Genuary result—removing hidden lines for cleaner, more efficient plots. #vpype #plotterart #generativeart

Testing out signing of my plots using single line SVG fonts. Used this great resource of @golan.bsky.social → github.com/golanlevin/p... #plottertwitter #plotterart #idrawhse

Got myself a desk mount for my iPhone so I can make better timelapses. Here’s a plot of one of the results of my Genuary 27 prompt. It uses no random() or noise() and is based on cellular automata and rulesets. #plotterart #idrawpenplotter #generativeart #genuary2025

Five lines. Plotted with the iDraw H SE pen plotter. #plotterart #penplotter

I started working on my own tool for remote plotting. Inspired by one of @revdancatt.com ’s vlogs, I wanted a way to send plots to my iDraw H SE without keeping my laptop tethered. Now, I can upload, preview, and start plots right from my iPad! Still a list of features/bugs to go! 🤓 #penplotter

Genuary 2025—done! See you next year (hopefully). Check out all the daily generative works here: www.misha.studio/iterations/genuary-2025. Now, back to experimenting with my new pen plotter ;) ✍️ #genuary2025 #generativeart

Genuary 31: Pixel sorting. Last one, I made it! For this one I tried some pixel sorting techniques using the result of the 'Gradients only' prompt. #genuary31 #genuary

Genuary 30: Abstract map. Experimenting with my WIP 'pulley' system—lines twist and connect as if pulled around circular pulleys, forming a somewhat nauseating road map. 😅 #genuary30 #genuary

Genuary 29: Grid-based graphic design. I created some kind of 'rectangular' random walker, will experiment with this piece of code in the future. #genuary29 #genuary

Genuary 28: Infinite Scroll. It's been a while doing (looping) animations. Took a bit longer than an hour to come up with a system to get this loop. #genuary28 #genuary

Genuary 27: Make something interesting with no randomness, noise, or trig. This was a tough challenge since randomness, noise, and trig are foundational in my work. I explored Cellular Automata and rulesets instead — completely free of random() and noise()! #genuary27 #genuary

Genuary 26: Symmetry. #genuary26 #genuary

Genuary 25: One line that may or may not intersect itself. It reflects within the boundary but never crosses it. Spent more time than the intended hour on this one—fixing bugs of my own making, of course. #genuary25 #genuary

Genuary 24: Geometric art - pick either a circle, rectangle, or triangle and use only that geometric shape. (I tried to creates some new shapes out of circles by intersecting/clipping them.) #genuary24 #genuary

Genuary 23: Inspired by brutalism. (First time doing something with two point perspective.) #genuary23 #genuary

Genuary 22: Gradients only. #genuary22 #genuary

Genuary 21: Create a collision detection system (no libraries allowed). Luckily I had already created such a system 😎. #genuary21 #genuary

Genuary 20: Generative Architecture. #genuary20 #genuary

Genuary 19: Op Art. #genuary19 #genuary

Genuary 18: What does wind look like? (Wind are basically easing curves right?) #genuary18 #genuary

Genuary 17: What happens if pi=4? (Well not that much, these are all arcs with a sweep length of 4.0 radians.) #genuary17 #genuary

Genuary 16: Generative palette. Not a generative palette since I'm using a fixed color palette. But the noise driven coloring influences the shapes that are being drawn ;) #genuary16 #genuary

Genuary 15: Design a rug. (Guess what, I'm bad at rug design) #genuary15 #genuary

Genuary 14: Pure black and white. No gray. Not exactly true to the prompt but went with a halftone/dithering effect. #genuary14 #genuary
