Time Person of the Year 2006 I like a lot of things. I don't like other things. I'm hoping to find things I like and avoid things I don't. My favorite things are barbecue, RPGs, and cats in cowboy hats. Y'all really don't need to follow me.

Alright, finished up! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Step two and three complete. Made some mayo and added chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Sauteed up some peppers. At dinner I'll toast the bread, heat the brisket up, toss the meat, veggies, and mushrooms together with some cumin, then assemble everything and toss some extra Oaxaca cheese on top.

Today I'm stealing from Philadelphia and making something Texan. I picked up some amoroso's rolls (all I can get here is the club size) and I'm going to do the Texas version of a cheesesteak with my leftover brisket. First, the queso made with Oaxaca cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, tomatoes, and spices.

I woke up early with a plan to head upstairs and write some music this morning because I haven't in a while. When I sat down with my guitar I realized that my passion for both writing and playing has waned and that makes me sad. I hope this is temporary.

I try to stay away from things I don't like but I'm pretty unhappy with things I've heard today. "I separate the art from the artist!" Ok, but are you financially supporting a living rapist or are you talking about art from someone who can no longer profit from it?

Today is a good day to smoke a brisket.

Y'all ever reread a book and start trying to tell the protagonist to just communicate with their friends? I'm currently drunkenly listening to a book I've read a dozen times and yelling at the protagonist to come clean.

Seriously considering getting the Dragon Age cookbook. I've had some fun with Hero's Feast and think it's time to expand my fantasy cooking repertoire.

I was up late finishing A Conventional Boy by Charles Stross. It was worth missing some sleep over. My favorite part was watching poor Derek try to figure out how to interact with others. If you'd ripped out the magic and references it would still be a great book.

I'm thinking of proposing to someone just so I can get one of these ring boxes and use the phrase "we-haw".

What do you mean "should have been"? I'm absolutely a villain. Maybe a complicated one, but still a villain. uquiz.com/quiz/eTdXoU/...
