Living in Texas vs. California is wild. Back in CA, I’d hear politicians talk about gas prices but never knew the real story—gas was just always high. Now that I’m in TX, I see it clear. Texas has some of the cheapest (and best) gas in the country. If it ain’t $1.98 here, it ain’t $1.98 anywhere.

I always have to laugh when people get upset about Pride "overshadowing" the military. They're not mutually exclusive. Pride didn't just appear. It took decades of organizing, fundraising, and fighting for visibility. If you want May or November to be bigger for the military, then organize.
