went to jazz band last night (with my clarinet since my saxophone and associated bits will arrive in the next few days). it was fun but I need to brush up on chord progressions. it was a pretty small group, not sure if more people are joining later on or what.

a RIDICULOUS chicken lemon rice soup at Cranker’s Coney Island in Mount Pleasant, MI when I was in college 15 years ago. $3 a cup and it cured colds, hangovers, and most other maladies. owner tried to convert the restaurant to a brewery and ended up closing probably six or seven years ago.
