Also we know that paths remain even if the specific aeon is gone so I don’t really see how killing them would stop the actions of people following those paths? The whole thing in penacony was caused by people following a god who is long gone. I don’t see how that would fix anything

I’m not even criticizing the story. This is all just a personal preference. I was lured in by interesting world building with cool gods but it turned out to be not what I wanted at all. This is very sad for me but it’s up to them on what direction they want to take it in
