There has never been a larger gap in my (admittedly quite short) professional life between how lay folks and law profs are talking about what is happening in government right now. So much of what Trump is doing is just blatantly illegal — often in several ways at once.

Tonight, @quintenlee.bsky.social stubbed his toe on his Crocs. I find that ironic and funny af. He took issue. I said I was not laughing at his pain, I was laughing at the method by which he acquired that pain. He says there's no difference. But there is. He is wrong. Who's with me? #martialdisputes

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I'm an atty & teacher. I taught Constitutional Law for 10yrs. I've educated folks about all the ways our govt is supposed to work & all the ways it's been rigged & twisted. I've screamed warnings for 30+ years. No one listened & here we are. I'll keep fighting. I have to. But I'm just so tired.

Being a Midwesterner who now lives in the South, watching the school closings when there's a minimum of bad weather makes me itchy. I understand all the very good reasons for it - the South doesn't have the same resources for snow/ice removal the Midwest does - but it still makes me itchy.

The 14YO's HS Jazz Band had a recent performance. They play Tenor Sax in the jazz band, and play Alto Sax in the concert band. The Jazz Band played Take 5 & featured them as a soloist. @mizbetsyh.bsky.social and I are very proud of them. #JazzMusic #HighSchoolJazz

I am a middle school English teacher. My 14yo, Iris, insisted I have "Danger and Other Unknown Risks" by @ryannorth.ca & @ericafails.bsky.social in my classroom library. Best addition ever. I can't keep it on the shelf. I'll need more copies when I can fundraise enough to expand my collection.
