I'll never forget that my father, who always told me I was never smart enough, spent hours unsticking and resticking the Rubix cube squares to look like he'd solved the puzzle. Anyway, it's my one year anniversary of having a literary agent and I've published 17 short stories.

Today I learned that giant chains breathe. Due to the oxidation in rooms with these babies, you can die in about 24 hours in an enclosed space with a ship's giant chain. Put that in your novel.
