"The Bechdel Test", "Bury Your Gays", these are concepts meant to point out patterns in popular culture, not to evaluate individual works of art. People who can't grasp this cling to shit like TVTropes because it saves them having to think.

No one wants this. Tech isn't even driven by market capitalism at this point. If it were, they would know and care that this isn't a market. Tech is driven by ideology. It seeks to colonize, erase, and subsume all modes of art and culture its cult leaders feel they can't understand or control.

A perennial problem I experience with raising alarms about the ways that abusers are being given power by the state to perpetrate abuse is people saying "the victims should report it to the police". The police have a 1% case clearance rate for abuse even where the victim was an adult.
