The Chickadees are in full force at my place. I feel lucky to have 3 kinds as regular visitors. The Chestnut-Backed, Black-Capped, and this the Mountain. I hate to play favorites, but I must admit this one steals my heart every day. Perhaps it is the rakish daring and persistence.

In the midst of it all, I find myself looking for the happy things. Mostly those come to me on my daily hikes. I post to hopefully bring you some smile and hope, and reminders of what we must protect. Pinedrops nestled in the snow.

To be greeted by the Alpenglow. A lifting of the heart and soul. A reminder we are not alone in this crucial resistance. A day to be energized for planning and action.

Sun out Sunday! A perfect day to work outside away from those trying to sow chaos.
