The Sage website got an uplift. Plus see every release note!

New Sage website WIP.

Here’s what reasoning looks like on Sage for Claude iOS.

109 builds and counting.

🚀 It's here! Claude 3.7 Sonnet reasoning is rolling out now on Sage for Claude! See Claude's reasoning process in real-time with our latest update! Toggle thinking mode with Command+Shift+T, set your default model, customize your reasoning budget, and enjoy improved scrolling.

Animations!

More view states on our new input bar.

The Sage 2 message bar is more organized and responsive and now supports shift return for new lines instead of just option return!

MCP-get explorer website restored! We are working on better monitoring & alerting

The Sage for Claude team will continue working on the new Sage app this weekend. This is the current progress on a much smoother chat view. We aim to eliminate frame drops line by line, view by view

🚀 OUT NOW: Sage for Claude has partnered with mcp.run to bring their ecosystem of tools to Sage users on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Simply log in with your mcp.run account within the app and access all your tools, no configs required. More soon!

Sage is going through a re-write, but why not add something fun tonight?

Tonight’s Sage roadmap will hopefully bring WebSocket improvements to make the mobile experience even better.

Making MCP servers easy to install and configure helps close the accessibility gap for mass adoption. happy to see more apps adopt marketplaces!

The update is out to TestFlight and Mac! SageApp.ai.

Rolling out to all Sage users now: Sage now supports Home Assistant's built-in MCP server on Mac and iOS. Volume up! Plus, fixes for Smithery connections and improved SSE connection stability.

xAI got the OpenAI desk set

Latency is super important. That’s why Sage for Claude opens instantly, even on cold start.

Sneak peek: Projects + Sage for Claude. Organize your chats, set custom instructions, link folders, and attach images and PDFs. More work is needed, but we like how it is shaping up. Thanks for all the feedback!

Progress on our thinking indicator for Anthropic’s (rumored) reasoning model! The Sage team is having a lot of fun on the re-write.

The Mcp-get cli no longer clears unnecessary configs for Claude desktop.

Sage is all about bringing the best experience for Claude (and more 👀) to Apple Platforms. To that end we are re-writing almost the entire app. This is progress on the scroll system that will enable Sage responses to have maximum visual space. Don’t mind the narrow width bubbles

Uh.. who is o1 meeting with?

We’re thinking of bringing Sage for Claude to Android! Would anyone want to test it?

Will Anthropic include reasoning tokens via the API? Exposing reasoning in many ways enhances transparency and helps confirm the overall output, but depending on how good it is, there may be competitive or safety reasons to not expose it. But I hope they do!

Claude updated with a new model picker which has more space for models. 👀 Sage has plenty of space, we’re ready to bring any new models, and will do so day 1.

We just pushed an update for Sage that brings significant MCP connection improvements, especially on mobile!

Vibe coding is great until you hit something silly, like making a stick-to-top copy code button on react markdown. Then, the leading models from 3.6 Sonnet, o3 high, DeepSeek, and o1 pro mode fall flat. I manually did it in 10 minutes but I'd like my hour back.

So nice to see real users use Sage MCP support on iOS!

In lieu of a roadmap I provide this screenshot, if you know you know.

I know marketplaces are exciting, but we also brought SSE and WebSocket support to Sage on all platforms! This means you can connect to more tools in more places

Love these moments!

🚀 ROLLING OUT NOW: Sage for Claude now supports hundreds of tools via the Model Context Protocol on both iOS and Mac. We've partnered with Smithery to bring an app-store-like experience with one-touch install for local and hosted MCP servers. 🧵

o3 mini solves my New York Times connections test!

👀 Sage is currently up for Anthropic API project of the month on the Anthropic Discord (featured-projects)

While DeepSeek did fail the first time, it has passed my NYT connections test! o1 still did this in one shot.

Coming in next build: up arrow to edit!

The new tools button lets you see all your connected tools, disable and enable them at will, and jump into settings to make changes.

Sage marketplaces are shaping up very nicely. Thanks to our partners Glama and MCP.run for putting in so much work behind the scenes!

Got some last minute touches on Sage mobile for MCP. Hopefully will get some time this weekend to get it out. Very good adoption numbers on Mac! More soon.

Not bad for the first public site!

If you had trouble downloading, it should work now. It's so exciting to see users around the world, both old and new, hitting the site!
