I'll never forget hearing "Broken English" for the first time at 18, that voice like she'd been gargling with broken glass sending a chill down my spine. Still one of my favourite albums. Such a tremendous talent.

We saw "MJ - The Musical" at the NAC last night. I was amazed that, no matter what else was going on on-stage, I just couldn't take my eyes off the Michael Jackson character. I'm not a huge fan of Jackson's music but he was clearly one of the most gifted entertainers of his age.
