Hang a flag or sign in your front yard or front window that shows your support for a cause. Take a minute to research companies that actually support these causes with your flag or sign purchase. Sometimes people just need to know someone else is on their side.

Dear Manager, this week: 1. At first, I was afraid. I was petrified. 2. Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side. 3. But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong. 4. And I grew strong. 5. And I learned how to get along.

Writers and artists: reply with a link to one of your works. And feel free to tell us about it. Everyone: let's check through the replies and buy some creations and support some creators.

Some thoughts on The Monkey (2025) at my movie blog. It's funnier and weirder than expected, based on reading the King short story.

It costs 0$ to Repost a Black disabled queer small business! It could lead to my next sale. All 3 patterns are available for pre-order!! If I don't sell enough of them. I'll have to cancel orders. So please support!! Which ones are you buying? Galaxy, bats or strawberry? Store: Bibipins.com

Representation matters, and @gtsjazz.bsky.social is here to share a selection of movies that show us an often overlooked point of view, that of Black childhood and adolescence in horror. #HorrorSky #MovieSky

Are you a trans woman with a horror novel coming out in 2025? We want to hear from you for WiHM 2025! #HorrorCommunity #HorrorWriters #WiHM

I have a task for you, #horrorfam: Tell me your favorite trans woman horror author. Bonus points if she has a debut novel coming out in 2025. Or share a Starter Pack with me. It's for a Very Special Women in Horror Month project. 🏳️‍⚧️

I love a good horror comedy. It's so hard to do well, but when it is...it's amazing.

While laid out in a fever coma yesterday, I discovered this gorgeous, fun, wholesome show. Every episode is a new decade theme with a guest judge. And DEI? Roller Jam’s all about that. MORE SEASONS PLEASE.

Taking Submissions: Magic Malfunction horrortree.com/taking-submi... Deadline: March 9th, 2025 Payment: Royalties Theme: What happens when magic goes wrong? #AmWriting

Tomorrow’s episode will be spotlighting Selena from 28 DAYS LATER for our Black (Final) Girl Magic series 💪🏽 #HorrorSky #FilmSky

To give more time for submissions (I've received fewer than ten so far), I'm extending the BIPOC-only submission call through the end of February. Got a horror/Weird fiction collection? Send it my way! cursedmorsels.com/submission-c...

It's Monday, February 10th. Have you submitted your story for our Folk Stories & Fairy Tales flash fiction contest yet? 🦄👻🤡👹👸🧜‍♂️🧞🐉

Don't just mindlessly spread fear and hate. Bookmark reliable fact-checking sites like Politifact, AP Fact Check, or FactCheck dot org, and help fight disinformation from BOTH sides.

Oh hey so this is a thing now lol. Full details coming soon in an article, but the TFR Patreon is officially live 🥳

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS COVER! 👀 @almakatsu.bsky.social is an insta-buy author. And when I saw that FIEND is Gothic Horror, I swooned. I swooned HARD. Look at it!

12YO on VR: "Guys, it's not that hard to not die from monsters." Spoken like a true horror aficionado. I'm so proud. 🖤

The Trump administration has begun drafting an executive order to eliminate the Department of Education. This action would negatively impact school libraries and literacy rates. www.saveschoollibrarians.org/deptofed2025 via @everylibrary.bsky.social

Audio reprint news! The fine fiends at @talestoterrify.bsky.social will be bringing my tale of a Final Girl who takes her position wayyyyyy too seriously (enough to kill for it) "Lakeside Ceremonials" to life this Friday for the 680th episode of the podcast. Can't wait to give it a listen.

Hurry! Contest closes March 1! Rules, guidelines, and submissions here: tinyurl.com/yf8cmu6

“Neurodetergent.” 😂🤣😂😂😆😁🤣🤣😂😆 @bitterkarella.bsky.social @midnightpals.bsky.social

Greetings, Children of the Night. Welcome to Tales to Terrify's Tuesday poll! This week's question: Are you the weirdo in your family for liking horror, or is the sickness inherited?

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY. If you don't have a library card yet, get one. Find out what services your library provides in addition to lending out books. If you prefer ebooks, many libraries have digital copies of books you can borrow. #1SimpleAction #Libraries #SupportLibraries #DoGood

I'm not saying that Gen Alpha is growing up in a different world than I did, but I just had to show 12YO how to put an RSVP card into the pre-addressed envelope it came with. 👵

Hey peeps. I did a thing. Check it out, follow, and pass it on. If you want. bsky.app/profile/1sim...

I'm not saying that I'm having the Mondayest Monday that ever Mondayed, but I took TWO wrong turns driving 12YO to school today. THE SCHOOL IS A STRAIGHT SHOT DOWN THE ROAD. 🙃

fantasy books by black authors with sapphic representation #sapphicbooks #fantasybooksky #booksky

FLASH FICTION CONTEST NOW OPEN! Theme: FOLK TALES & FAIRY TALES. They can be reboots of old favorites, horrific spins on family lore, or your own nightmarish creations. Just make sure your entry is scary and that it can be described as a fairy tale or folklore. More info here: tinyurl.com/yf8cmu6

Happy Black History Month. Black folks, drop your books in the comments so we can see your brilliance. Doesn’t matter if it already came out or is older or is coming out. Someone needs to read them! Let’s remind them who we are! Black trans, Black queer & Black disabled folxs especially!

The second season of “School Spirits” is FINALLY on! No exaggeration, 12YO and I have waited a LITERAL ETERNITY for this. 👻

You can never have enough ice packs on hand.

I'm not a fan of homework in general, but my 12YO just came home with all of his missed homework AND classwork after being out sick for 2 days. Like, sorry you were barfing, here's every little thing you need to do to not fail. One of the things is a review packet for a math quiz they took TODAY.

I’m hoping my book will become more popular. Disability representation is hard to market, especially in the fantasy romance department. But we deserve to be the heroes of the stories and to have our romances too! Hopeful it will be discovered and the word will spread.

The Big Book Of Everyday Resistance will be a collection of essays about what you do to resist, how you resist, and why you resist. For more information check out: www.romancedailynews...
