My ½★ review of #AmityvilleAI boxd.it/8VoP3v Yeesh. Almost hits the so bad it is good, but never gets there. Bad on virtually all levels of film making. Simply getting this no budget work made us admirable, but there aren't even signs of potential here.

My ★½ review of The Candy Store boxd.it/8UG6EX Feel bad picking on this. Clearly next to no budget. Credit to simply making a movie. Rough around the edges. Acting is not great, sound design is really lacking. Gore is actually pretty good. There is something here. Almost a spin on Hansel and Gretel.

My ★ review of #MemesAndNightmares boxd.it/8Ui1Mp This sucked. Could've been a look into the growth of social media and it's effect on sports, namely basketball, and how it cyclical. Instead this is aimless, not funny and a waste of time.

A political leader should not "troll" the American people.

#Yourfriendlyneighbourhoodspiderman is so much fun. The art style, voice acting and story are solid. Is doing it's own thing, with its own little spin on the Spider Man mythos. Also falls into multiverse, but this is multiverse done right.

The Spider Man v Daredevil fight in #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan is so good and why animation still has a place in entertainment. Also a good episode mixing legit funny moments with the heartbreak of seeing Lonnie descend into a bad place.

My ★★½ review of #Longlegs boxd.it/8QOb7p I'm in the minority here, but this just felt unsatisfactory to me. I'm all for a slow burn, but this was boring. Nick Cage is great, production value is good, but story feels very slapdashed. Big twist i called after the phone call with her mom.

I'm begging you idiots to please watch #TheOrville...specifically "From Unknown Graves" to see just how bad an idea this is.

#Longlegs is finally on Hulu...will hopefully find time to watch it finally

So yea, already had the ending of this spoiler, and wasn't even looking for it. Swear to christ stop posting video from the end of movies the day they fuckin come out.

Yea, so childhood chronic diseases. No amount of diet or change will change some chronic diseases (i known i was born with one). You know what does help? Scientific research. Also, maybe allow stem cell research.

My ★★★½ review of 20 Million Miles to Earth boxd.it/8PlPMb Elevated by Ray Harryhausen's stop motion work. Borrows a lot from King Kong, and your sympathies will go to the creature.

A little 50s throwback for this #ThursdayNightFlick....20 Million Miles from Earth.

My ★★½ review of #FatalExposure boxd.it/8OO2fL An erotic, LGBTQ thriller. Honestly, not bad. The story is a little slap dash, the acting is on the lower end, but serviceable. It takes a while to get going, but the last 5 minutes are good.

My ★★★ review of By Candlelight boxd.it/8Ogy5l Not horror but this shows director James Whale was a versatile director. A rom-com, genuinely funny at points, a spin on Prince and the Pauper. It may drag a tad in the middle, but Paul Lukas is so likeable as Josef you can't help but root for him.

Finally getting back into the swing of things. Tomorrow it is back to my happy place, watching #HorrorMovies

After a week in Cincy it will be a welcome change back down South and can get back to watching #HorrorMovies

A mobile suit #Gundam movie? Sign me the fuck up for this.

Anti-DOGE rally getting underway now outside the U.S. Department of Labor, where DOGE was reportedly scheduled to have a meeting today. Big turnout from AFGE, one of the federal unions in Trump’s crosshairs.

This dumb fuck is gonna turn Gaza into Myrtle Beach of the Mediterranian and we will all be worse off for it.

It’s okay to be different, to be strange, to be a little interesting…

Really digging #YourFriendlyNieghborhoodSpiderMan

If you're blaming DEI or Pete Buttigeig for the accident at Reagan airport, gfy. Maybe wait for evidence to come out from aviation safety experts before you find blame, snd hopefully a way to address what problems arise.

My ★★ review of I’ll Be Watching on Letterboxd boxd.it/8ERH6L The twist almost works if they didn't try to redeem the husband. A slow burn with a neat premise, solid commentary and great work by Eliza Taylor, but the twist as is, hangs the film to die.

After the hectic shit from today, i gotta watch a movie.

Your friendly reminder #TreasurePlanet is the last great #Disney 2D animated movie. In 2002 sadly not many people saw it. Really hope this continues to grow as time goes on. Do yourself a favor and queue it up on @filmandseries.bsky.social.

My ★ review of #StarTrek: #Section31 boxd.it/8CnbvB A 25 min opening exposition dump, and yet they blow through it so fast you have no idea who anyone is or what the goal is. Fight camera work is awful. Presentation looks good, and Michelle Yeoh is good. This is the worst Star Trek movie.I

4 days in and already immigration raids are happening and targeting legal immigrants. It was never about legal immigration, it was always about targeting black and brown people.

One thing about me is that I will fight Nazis until I’m six feet in the ground.

My ★½ review of The Calendar Killer boxd.it/8AOXcD It's possible to agree with a film's message, but hate the execution. The big twist falls flat, most of the film is a phone call or flashback. Good on the film for bringing attention to domestic violence, but this is dull

Your friendly reminder to #EatTheRich and watch more #HorrorMovies

My ★★★½ review of #HeyArnold! The Movie boxd.it/8zPWRN A lot going on for a kids movie: Gentrification, the link between big business and politics. Drags a bit in the middle section. Still, it's funny, apt commentary and a pretty kick ass climax.

My ★½ review of Henry Danger: The Movie boxd.it/8yK3cV My expectations were low, but sweet hell is this bad. Bad writing, bad fight camera work and a repetitive story. I know it's based on a 2010s Nick show, but the main character arch shows they could've done more, but chose not to.
