Congratulations to all the aspiring psychologists who matched today! If you didn't match, see below for an opportunity to learn more about Phase 2 (and know that I've interviewed some great applicants who didn't match until Phase 2 -it doesn't mean you won't go on to be a great psychologist!)

Amongst all the grant funding anxiety as I get ready to resubmit an NIH grant app next month, I got a text from #APPIC @ubhc.bsky.social psych internship alumni to tell me they are now working together and it made my day! Looking forward to Match Day on Friday! Good luck to all the applicants!!

NIDAs Council did not meet this week, even in closed session as it was suggested. Study sections have resumed, but grants are being removed before review pile because of trigger words in the title..

As a clinical psychologist, it's great to see famous people so open with their mental health struggles. It's even better when they share evidence-based strategies like DBT's HALT! @garygulman.bsky.social is also an absolutely hysterical comedian! #PsySciSky

Dear Federal Scientists: Don’t Give Up -- As the deadline approaches this week for Musk's dubious 'deferred resignation' offer, a former federal scientist shares these powerful words and advice:
