In light of the Kennedy Center “announcement” sharing this from the Mondriaan House.

Blue sky in Amersfoort today.

Watched “#You’re Cordially Invited” last night. It was a delightful romp. And I especially loved the concept of going “chaos monkey” and I will be looking for ways to incorporate that into my life.

Beautiful blue sky in Leiden, NL.

Enjoying a day out in Leiden. I came for the English bookstore - Mayflower Books - and am now just enjoying the city. A return trip for the museums is already in the planning stage.

Who couldn't use a spot of brightness in their day? These Calendulas are so vibrant they practically glow. They caught my eye at the market today and I had to have them. I mixed them with the purple thistle for a little contrast and then added them to remaining flowers from my NYE bouquet.

Happy New Year!

Nova is redefining the edges of the couch.

Beautiful fluffy clouds this morning. And blue sky! We haven’t seen that in quite some time.

I want to achieve this level of relaxation.

Close call with #whamageddon during my Ted Lasso rewatch. Fortunately the rules say covers don’t count, so I am safe for another day. It will be interesting to see if it is easier to avoid here in the Netherlands. Of course, with the amount of 80s hits I hear here, it may be higher risk. 🤣

My coworkers were more focused on bathing each other instead of helping me today. Do I need to file an HR conplaint? #cats

Quite the sky this evening.

Cuddle up with your favorite stuffy and enjoy the day.

On our way home from the train station after a day in Amsterdam. The sky was showing off today!

Saw these Chinese Lanterns today and I love the evolution into the seed phase. So beautiful.

May we all experience the level of peace and calm that Annie found.

May you find this level of comfort this weekend.

Would it be cultural appropriation to take on an accent so Dutch folks will stop looking at me with pity? All I can say is "I know, that is why I moved here!"

Okay, I made the move. Photo from my office window seems like a good way to kick things off.
