DEL (Direct emissive LEDs) or QDEL is one of the few display techs that im still so intrigued by, effectively theyre inorganic OLEDs, all the beenfits of OLEDs without the drawbacks. lets hope they get good before MicroLED gets to commercialisation

if anything it would be based on an arm chip by AMD, as the GPU drivers are already there. dont forget, the current consoles are based on Zen2 still, its not out of the question that Qualcomm's 2nd gen Pryon core or something AMD has cooked up is more performant than Zen2

the pi 5 is great, and im happy i was able to build myNAS with it, but my fucking god do not build a NAS/media server with a pi5, at least not until someone makes a H.265/AV1 encoder/decoder add on, removing those IP blocks is infuriating. otherwise i'd be asking @pimoroni.com for an NVMe base Quad
