I've been MIA. My GSP Winston has IMHA. I've slept more nights than I can count on vet floors next to him and have done all I can to save his life. I'm grateful he's the exception thus far with not only our 20 year vet in Houston but also Vergi ER, which has also been around for decades (see more)

My daughter called me about an hour ago from Los Angeles, and I could barely hear her because of the rain hitting the outside of her car! I almost cried with happiness. Being from the “swamp” that is Houston, she’s not used to wishing for rain and said she’s never seen people more happy to see it.
