Picked up this interesting #woodsculpture yesterday. Much of it appears to have been charred using the Japanese technique of #ShouSugiBan. Its heavy as hell and well preserved. Really interesting shape, color and detail. #abstractsculpture #naturalwoodart

Spotted this nice little Takahashi bud vase in a church thrift a few weeks ago. Still there yesterday so I grabbed it. Really nice green/brown glaze and I love the square shape. Stopping the glaze 3/4s down the side and exposing the raw clay is nice touch too. #takahashi #japan #budvase #glaze
