It’s also worth noting that Congress gave the president “line item veto” powers in 1996 but SCOTUS decided that it was unconstitutional in 1998. I think it’s reasonable to say that Trump is practicing an unconstitutional de facto line item veto.

If you owe money in taxes, filing an extension is not supposed to be an extension to pay; in theory, everything you owe is due today. In practice, if you can’t pay it all today file the extension anyway because the penalties for not filing are MUCH higher than the ones for not paying today in full

This is not the first time I've heard of AI use triggering depersonalization (also paranoia). If we are using a tool as a coping mechanism, and that tool is toxic and unstable to begin with...that is one precarious slope.
