New friends don’t always believe me when I tell them how often people come up to me in public places to ask for assistance, no matter that I’m doing. Standing by the door of a restaurant right now, facing the room, looking at my phone, a couple cheerily says “bye thank you!” to me as they leave. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I keep thinking about Milwaukee’s America’s Black Holocaust Museum, too. Founded in ‘88 by a lynching survivor. Closed in ‘08, found new virtual life in ‘12, finally reopening in ‘22 in a brand new beautiful space. More people are finally discovering it, and its reach is growing.
