Brooke is spot-on if you want to understand the DOGEheads and why they are unique from what we’ve seen before

Let’s brainstorm a minute about the newfound hostility of Elon towards South Africa and Trump’s sudden passionate defense of White farmers in RSA. Ok, they’re both white supremacists. Sure. But this photo is from a Sept 2024 meeting. Everything seemed peachy. I have thoughts….

Anyone else think the end game in all of this might actually be revenge on the United States for voting him out in 2020?

This week, we’re asking you to plan a visit to your closest US Senate office to push senators to stand up against Trump’s lawless overreach. The ask will be slightly different if your senator is a Democrat or Republican. We put together a toolkit with everything you need: indivisi.org/choosetofight

This overseas development work is less than 1/2 of 1% of our budget, yet it is crucial for our own security and our world. “It feels like one easy decision by the U.S. president is quietly killing so many lives,” How the World Is Reeling From Trump’s Aid Freeze www.nytimes.com/2025/01/31/w...

Behind most every rabidly self-proclaimed "patriot" is a mediocre individual who refuses to see how they've benefited from being born on a random plot of land.

Oh.

I'm really happy that President Biden is honoring chef José Andrés with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His work with World Central Kitchen is incredible, most recently with feeding folks after hurricanes Helene and Milton 💕.

A fascinating and frightening look into militias. Great reporting and even better info gathering.
