Our 53rd anniversary today.

I’ve started to call those Maple MAGAs “weird”. You know, those guys that say that Canada is “destroyed”. I’m replying “weird”. May not have worked for Harris/Walz, but it feels appropriate.

I eliminated the aka thing.

Elon reminds me of someone who still thinks that Atlas Shrugged is a great book.

We have located our Canadian flag, and will be hanging it up soon. Probably with the Christmas lights, which are still on.

Maybe a toque (eventually). First attempt at plying off the spindle.

With such uncertainty about US aid, I finally signed up for a monthly donation to the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Just raising funds with a Grandmothers group isn’t enough. #StephenLewisFoundation

I can ply with my drop spindle. Learn something new!

Well, that was fun! #crochet #Pieceworkmagazinr

Not easy, but I can still follow a crochet pattern. So I won’t give away all that crochet thread just yet.

Husband is playing many versions of Hard Times Come Again No More. Just what is needed.

Hooray for Canada Post! Today we got a credit card bill with a due date of December 9.

If I were engaged to someone who started a post “Me and my Fiance”, I’d say goodbye. He puts himself first, and will be unable to help our future kids with English and French homework. Au revoir.

Knitting patterns for hats list 16 inch circular needles; I happened to have a 22 inch circular and it definitely worked better. The needle angles are right, and stitches aren’t packed.

Memecoin is beyond my understanding. Buying something (? Not really a thing) in the expectation that someone will buy it from you for more money. Shitcoin makes more sense. I’d rather knit.

I quit drinking a year ago; have to take methotrexate and I like my liver. My husband’s hobby is building lego in bottles. Nope, I won’t add Jack Daniels to my tea. Sorry.

Reading Kraken. Seriously admire Miéville’s language (outskirt) and I haven’t thought of Colin Wilson in decades. So many interesting references.
