It’s surreal just how blithely the media has covered the next US president openly stating his aspirations for territorial expansion… as if that’s just a point of foreign policy and not the wholesale departure from the so-called “rules-based international order”

Not going to comment on the particular case, but surely liberal commentators are being disingenuous when they say violence is *never* justified. I doubt they would say the Warsaw ghetto uprising was not justified, for example.
