Found a little silver friend on my porch. Sunbathing. I ended up picking the little guy up and letting him back onto the railing in the shade, just in case. If he wants to go back into the direct sunlight, he can.

There was this one time on the road back from Seaside to Portland where we stopped at some Dairy Queen in bumfuck nowhere, and for no good reason at all it had the best burger I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, legitimately mouth-watering. No burger has come close.
