Anyone else think Trump’s team played us? They want Rubio as State & he’ll go through w/o issue. Now theres a vacant FL senate seat. They want Gaetz so he resigns & is floated as AG & they KNOW he wont pass, so he withdraws & DeSantis installs him as Senator, giving 1 of Trumps favorites more power.

Besides Gaetz’s withdrawal from consideration as AG for Trump, the other good news here is he’s no longer a Congressman and will have to wait at least 2 more years before he can try to run again. Happy times.
